  The Modular system controls electric drives for hoists, winches or platforms.

The Modular control device positions the drives via CAN absolute value encoders or pulse detectors. Without encoders, positioning is performed through time control. Mixed usage of drives with and without encoders is also possible.

The connected drive should deliver the signals demanded by the Modular control devices and correspond with the local country regulations. In Germany, additional regulations - BGV C1 und BGV D8 - prescribed by professional associations are in force.
